Audition For The Big Screen

So a funny thing happened last week, I had a voicemail left from a lady at Poptop saying that a casting director had seen my profile and wanted to get in touch. Next thing I received an email from the casting director. He explained that he worked for Nina Gold Casting and that he was looking for a burlesque performer to play a role in film by director Edgar Wright. After having a chat with him we arranged for me to go and audition.

Fast forward a week and I'm down in London staying in a lovely hotel (kindly arranged by my aunt as I don't know that area of London to well) sipping on Prosecco and setting my hair.

After a fabulous nights sleep I brushed out my curls, painted my face and I'm walking round the corner to non other than Ealing Studios!!! Don't get me wrong I was a nervous wreck as I'd never done anything like it before, but I was also rather excited.

I waited in reception looking at all the movie posters that had past been filmed there, I was then greeted by the lovely gentleman that I had been in conversation with the week before. We did three takes on film and was told they would be in touch by the end of the day.

Unfortunately I didn't get a call back but I was still over the moon for even being found and invited to audition, Plus I'm always up for a night in a hotel with a fabulously huge comfy bed ; )

Naughty photo I sneakily took
